About us

At McGraths Hill Children’s Centre, we celebrate the uniqueness of every child and family who walks through our doors.

We are committed to creating a place where children feel safe, supported and a true sense of belonging. Families are always welcome to spend as much time as they need within the service, after all, you are your child’s first and most important teachers. Guided by the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework, we continually work to deliver high-quality care and education that grows alongside the needs of our community.

Our learning environments

Wombats Room

Inside and out are designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and inspire meaningful, play-based learning. We value cultural diversity, spontaneous moments of discovery, and experiences that help children become confident, capable and enthusiastic learners.

Through intentional teaching and everyday interactions, we support the development of pre-academic skills, independence, self-help abilities and respectful relationships. Sustainability is woven into our daily routines, helping children develop care and appreciation for the natural world.

We believe strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Families are our greatest partners, and we actively encourage their involvement, insights and feedback to ensure every child’s needs are truly understood. Our educators work collaboratively, continually developing their skills and knowledge to provide the best possible learning environment. Together with our Management Committee and families, we maintain child-safe practices and uphold every child’s rights, ensuring our centre remains a nurturing, connected and protective community for all.
